(E).-[n exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (l) of seotion 467 of the
companies Act, 2013 (18 0f2013), th€ central Govemment hereby makes the folowinq further
arnendments in Schedule VII of the said Act. namely.


(l) In Schedule VII, afrer item (x), the following item and entry shall be inserted, namery:_
"(xi) slum area development,

Explahation.-For the purposes ofthis item, the tefm

'slum area' shall mean any area

declared as such by the Central Govemment or any State Goyernment or any olh€r
competent authority under any law for the time being in

force."

2. This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Offrcbl
Gazefte.

lst April, 2014 and was amended(effective from 1st April, 2014) vide notification number GSR
